Abstract
Application of 2,3,5-triiodobenzoic acid (10 ppm) to monoecious cucumber plants at the first true leaf has produced predominately staminate flowers on treated plants while treatment with 2-chloroethylphosphonic acid (100 ppm) resulted in predominately pistillate flowers on treated plants. These 2 growth regulators applied together produced about the same effect as 2-chloroethylphosphonic acid alone.
