In the article titled “Environmental Stress and Methyl Jasmonate-mediated Changes in Flavonoid Concentrations and Antioxidant Activity in Broccoli Florets and Kale Leaf Tissues,” by Kang Mo Ku and John A. Juvik [HortScience 48(8):996–1002; Aug. 2013], there were errors in the footnotes for Tables 2, 4, 5, and 6, as follows:

In Tables 2, 4, and 5, in the footnote “Flavonoids were measured by high-performance liquid chromatography and expressed as mmol/100 g …,” the units should be micromoles (μmol), not millimoles.

In Tables 2, 4, 5, and 6, the footnote “Antioxidant activity is presented as percentage of free radical scavenging ability compared to negative control (solvent)” should be “Antioxidant activities are presented as Trolox equivalent concentration (mmol/100 g of ….”

Also, in Tables 5 and 6, all footnotes should refer to kale, not broccoli.
